# RESIDENCIES

FR: Dj, producteur et directeur artistique du label et collectif Kluster, oMe incarne le renouveau de la scène techno parisienne avec une techno mentale et groovy aux notes sombres et aux rythmiques architecturales. Influencé par la House industrielle de détroit, et l’énergie des DJ de Chicago, il définit son univers et ses sets comme l’éternelle confrontation entre la légèreté du plaisir et la gravité du monde qui nous entoure et nous plaque tête contre sol. « L’insoutenable légèreté de l’être » c’est en définitive ce titre de Milan Kundera qui exprime le mieux sa musique et sa personne.

Pour Line Out Radio, oMe propose “Electro-Nirique”, une résidence soigneusement pensée ; selon ses propres mots : “À travers cette résidence, j’aimerais vraiment poser un regard sur le monde. Le monde que nous connaissons, le monde d’aujourd’hui. C’est l’histoire de la terre que je veux raconter : celle qui est belle, simple, sobre. Mais aussi celle qui est dure, froide, grande. Je suis convaincu que c’est en mélangeant les opposés que les plus belles chimères sont créées. Je cherche constamment à réunir les deux aimants qui se repoussent pour créer l’étincelle. Explorer, se tromper, recommencer, et découvrir sont indissociables de l’humain. ELECTRO-NIRIQUE c’est l’occasion parfaite de me découvrir en tant qu’artiste, et d’aller explorer le son que produit par l’univers. En bref, ma musique sera celle d’un jeune scientifique (un peu fou) qui trouvera le calme en faisant du bruit.”

Influenced by Detroit industrial House, and the energy of Chicago DJs, he defines his universe and his sets as the eternal confrontation between the lightness of pleasure and the gravity of the world that surrounds us and pins us head to the ground. “The unbearable lightness of being” is ultimately this title by Milan Kundera which best expresses his music and his person.

For Line Out Radio, oMe offers “Electro-Nirique”, a carefully thought-out residency; in his own words: “Through this residency, I would really like to take a look at the world. The world that we know, the world of today. It is the story of the earth that I want to tell: the one that is beautiful, simple, sober. But also the one that is hard, cold, big. I am convinced that it is by mixing opposites that the most beautiful chimeras are created. I constantly seek to bring together the two magnets that repel each other to create the spark. Exploring, making mistakes, starting again, and discovering are inseparable from being human. ELECTRO-NIRIQUE is the perfect opportunity to discover myself as an artist, and to explore the sound produced by the universe. In short, my music will be that of a young scientist (a little crazy) who finds calm by making noise.”
