# RESIDENCIES

FR: Oiseaux de Nuit(s) est un projet porté par deux volatiles, Curly Sanchez et Valérie Crépesse. Ensemble, iels explorent une techno deep et hypnotique aux influences hybrides, où se mêlent textures dub, atmosphères sombres et élans trancy. À travers leurs sélections, tous deux défendent une fête sensible, libre et engagée, pensée comme un espace de rencontre et de circulation des corps, des genres et des imaginaires. Le projet s’adresse à celles et ceux qui voient la nuit comme un territoire de déambulation, un moment de bascule où les frontières se brouillent et où chacun·e devient, le temps d’un voyage sonore, un oiseau de nuit.

Conçue comme un laboratoire sonore à quatre mains, l’idée de cette résidence sur Line Out est de donner naissance à des sets où l’improvisation occupe une place centrale. Fidèle à l’ADN du duo, chaque session se construit “dans l’instant” : un dialogue intuitif entre textures, rythmes et atmosphères, où la techno sert de point de départ plutôt que de frontière. Dub, ambient, trance, breaks, expérimentations plus lentes ou plus abrasives — les paysages traversés évoluent au gré des envies, des rencontres et des dérives nocturnes. Les Oiseaux ouvrent aussi cet espace à des artistes invité·es — DJs et producteur·ices aux univers singuliers et transversaux — dont les démarches résonnent avec leur vision d’une musique sans cloisonnement. Plus qu’une simple suite de mixes, cette résidence se veut un lieu de circulation d’influences et de curiosités, où les esthétiques se croisent et se répondent dans une même recherche de profondeur et d’émotion.

EN: Oiseaux de Nuit(s) is a project led by two artists, Curly Sanchez and Valérie Crépesse. Together, they explore a deep, hypnotic techno sound with hybrid influences, blending dub textures, dark atmospheres, and trance-like moments. Through their selections, both advocate for a sensitive, free, and socially conscious party, conceived as a space for encounter and the free flow of bodies, genders, and imaginations. The project is aimed at those who see the night as a realm for wandering, a moment of transition where boundaries blur and where everyone becomes, for the duration of a sonic journey, a night bird.

Conceived as a collaborative sound laboratory, the idea behind this residency on Line Out is to create sets where improvisation takes center stage. True to the duo’s DNA, each session is built “in the moment”: an intuitive dialogue between textures, rhythms, and atmospheres, where techno serves as a starting point rather than a boundary. Dub, ambient, trance, breaks, slower or more abrasive experiments—the soundscapes explored evolve according to whims, encounters, and nocturnal wanderings. Les Oiseaux also open this space to guest artists—DJs and producers with unique and cross-genre universes—whose approaches resonate with their vision of music without boundaries. More than just a series of mixes, this residency aims to be a space for the exchange of influences and curiosities, where aesthetics intersect and respond to one another in a shared quest for depth and emotion.
